I'm guessing you are Indian (my apologies if I've made an incorrect assumption). You can definitely be a healthy vegetarian (especially as an Indian since the Indian diet has so many vegetarian options) so long as you eat a balanced diet. You can eat the normal dal, rajma, and channa for protein. Hope this helps. The masala in chicken flavored Maggie is non-veg

There is no such thing as a protein pill. The reason for that is, there would be no money in it because virtually every plant food has protein in it, even fruit and vegetables. There would be more likelihood that would be eating too much protein, as long as you are consuming the proper amount of energy (calories) for your age, gender, height, weight and activity level.

When I donated plasma it was common for male college students to be turned away from the donation center for too much protein and triglycerides (fat) in their blood. As a vegan I always tested right in the mid range, not too much not too little for protein, iron, triglycerides and hydration.

Ditch the Maggi chicken soup, it's loaded with sodium as well as animal product. Start making your own noodles with veggie bouillon cubes or simply soy sauce (or Braggs liquid aminios or tamari), pepper, garlic powder, green onions, shredded carrots, mushrooms, bok choy or your fav veggies. It's easy, is healthier and taste better. Get thin noodles (aka vermicelli) and it cooks very quickly.

Maggi is amazingggg...i'm pretty sure you can eat them, it says chicken "flavouring". if it's the kind with the packets, then just don't add the packets if you're worried. it's fine to be a vegetarian, just do it the right healthy way and make sure you can get all vitamins and minerals from other things you eat to replace what you won't be eating anymore. and too much protein is actually bad for you by the way. You can get the proteins from milk, tofu, peanut butter anyways.

You "won't be able" to tell your mother. Why? Is is a one strike and you're killed kind of household?

I think what you mean is you don't WANT to tell your mother, because you are afraid of the yelling , raised eyebrows and interrogation she will give you.

My suggestion on that- grow a pair and stand up for yourself. YOu will have to face people in life at some point.

Why, also, do you mention protein? It is in most foods. LIterally, you can eat too much protein from cereal , yogurt, beans, brown rice, granola and a normal amount of peanut butter and bread. WHy not also mention selenium, copper, iron, folate, phosphorus and the other minerals necessary to live?

Get educated about this, it does not sound as though you have received much so far.

Processed junk food like MAggi noodles with chicken, um.. no. Chicken flavouring has chicken fat. Please.

If you do it right, it will improve your health!

You don't need protein pills. Get creative with other sources of protein:

- tofu (fry it up and add whatever sauces or spices you like!)

- plain nonfat Greek yogurt (add honey, fruit, muesli...)

- egg whites (2 whites + 1 egg: has the taste and 3x the protein of one egg)

- beans (eat them with some brown rice for a complete protein!)

- nuts (eat in moderation, as they are very fatty)

- vegetarian meatless meat products (though these aren't the healthiest things to eat), like:

~ choriso

~ breakfast sausages/patties

~ hot dogs

~ veggie ground round

~ veggie bologna <- DELICIOUS

Good luck!

As long as you follow a proper diet, being a vegetarian will not affect your health, although Maggi Chicken Noodles, being a meat product, is not vegetarian, but it is your choice.
