Yes there's the 'xonolath' which is a type of cucumber that grows in the rain forests of Brazil, it is eaten in great quantities by the aboriginal people of the area and it is thought that the chemicals in this peculiar vegetable are the reason for the restricted growth of the indigenous people.



Xonolath is a dish best served cold and taken with a pinch of salt.

Xanthosoma is a starcy corm (not a typo) plant that is similar to taro, and is a root vegetable. It is a food staple in tropical regions. It's common name is Malanga.

Xigua.... (she-gwah) it's a fruit [sorry] Xigua is the chinese name for watermelon. The seeds are sometimes dried like pumpkin seeds, then cracked open and the centers are eaten.
