Question:
Salads!?!?

I have been asking vegan questions all day today and I just thought of another... yay! What type of dressing would I use as a vegan? I'm not a big fan of ranch, but I love salad, normally I would use thousand islands or Italian. What could I use the same or would it be wise to change?

how about a vinegar and oil. There are many flavors of vinegar, and you could add garlic, chives, parsley, it's endless. Add some lemon juice as well to make it refreshing.

You can actually get vegan mayonaise, and from that you can make a ranch type dressing. YouTube vegan mayonaise recipe. Since going vegan YouTube has really helped me.

I love making Asian salad dressings, usually some mixture of sauces like soy sauce, hosin, peanut oil, garlic, ginger, chilli and coriander. Yum! Also I like flavored olive oil, like lemon or garlic infused, or just fresh lemon with olive oil. Balsamic is nice too.

Also I used to make a creamy dressing by mixing hummus with a bit of water to make it thin, then use as dressing! Enjoy!

Try making Salami Salad

In this recipe, salami is combined with onions and parsley and seasoned with mustard vinaigrette to make a simple and tasty salad. One of the best ways to enjoy salami is serving different varieties in a platter with different kinds of cheese such as in a wine tasting party. In making salami salad, you can use one type of salami or you can use two or three kinds for a more flavorful and complex dish.
