Question:
Are there any cruelty-free alternatives to Swiffer dusters?

As in, do any eco-and-animal-friendly brands (Seventh Generation, Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day, etc.) sell any sort of dusters that are similar to the Swiffer brand and that pick up dust as well? Otherwise I'll just use moist paper towels. I was just curious, as I've never seen one before. Thanks so much!

Are dusters tested on animals? Why would dusters be tested on animals, that's terrible!

Did you read the actual snopes entry to the claims that swiffer products are dangerous to small children and animals? Because they aren't any more than any other cleaner. P & G had vets evaluate it,.and the ASPCA actually has (or had, I haven't checked in a while) a message on their website debunking the whole thing.

Swiffer is made by Procter & Gamble. If you're looking for cruelty-free alternatives, then you probably already know that Procter & Gamble has one of the worst records regarding animal testing. It is the target of many boycott campaigns--there is even an annual “Global Boycott Procter & Gamble Day.”

I'm hoping to find an alternative too. Thanks for caring!

An old clean rag that is damp but not soaking wet?

A Swiffer ANYTHING is the last thing I would spend money on.
